Summary: The Administrative Assistant will provide operational support to the Long Term Care department by processing requirements for rate reimbursement and compliance review of long term care facilities in Indiana.
They will be required to perform other administrative office functions as needed.Essential Duties:
•Prepare operational support documentation such as rate calculation profiles, rate setting and compliance review reports, provider correspondence, and various operational spreadsheets
•Review and analyze incoming provider cost report submissions, correspondence, and other reports compliant with requirements
•Data entry of provider cost report submissions
•Prepare various documents which may include reports, memos, letters, responses to correspondence, surveys, spreadsheets and presentations
•Perform general office duties such as answering incoming phone calls, scanning/copying documents and preparing mailings
•Maintain security of and confidentiality of all protected health information
•Additional responsibilities as assignedRequirements
•High School diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree preferred
•2 years’ experience in office environment and knowledge of administrative procedures
•Basic bookkeeping and reconciling experience preferred
•Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office software tools (Word, Excel, and Access, etc.)
•Possess strong data entry and typing skills
•Be well organized with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
•Possess ability to quality review one’s own work
•Possess strong analytical and problem solving skills
•Demonstrated ability to communicate verbally and in writing throughout all levels of organization, both internally and externally
•Must be a team player who works well with a group
•Ability to work with minimal supervision while fulfilling all obligations
