Local Electrical Construction company is seeking a Contract Administrator that would also assist with Project Management and Accounts Receivable.Must love Dogs and be ok with colorful language, this is construction.Position Description: Contracts All stages Coordinate permit acquisition Maintain Job Files (set-up and close out job files ensuring contracts, lien notices, releases and any other documents are obtained and organized).
Enter/gather field paperwork/correspondences (RFIs, meeting minutes, schedules, submittals).
GC customer support as needed (make calls, create notices, etc.) Assist with submittals.
Review material quotes and secure approval, assign PO #, and place order.
Assist with managing project timelines Coordinate permit acquisition Request Insurance certificates and bonds when necessary Assist in corresponding with general contractors as necessary to complete projects General administrative duties Filing, faxing, copying, answering phones etc.Position Requirements: Previous work experience with Construction contracts required.
High School Diploma or equivalent required.
MS Office required.
Must be detail oriented, effective with time management, and able to multi-task.
Excellent customer service, written and oral communication skills Professional demeanor and a positive attitude Knowledge of Pro Core a plus.
Knowledge of Sage 100 Contractor a plus.We are a fast paced construction company that does new construction for both Joint Trench and Electrical.
Our Electrical jobs are primarily Apartments, Student housing and Hotels from the slab to the fixtures.The right person for this position would need be able to multi task and switch from project to project without being overwhelmed.
