Benefits Customer Service Representative Compensation

  • The pay for this position is $17/hr per hour, $17.75/hr for bilingual in Spanish or French
  • Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment and include health, optical, dental, life, and short-term disability insurance
  • A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates

Benefits Customer Service Representative Highlights

  • This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs
  • The required availability for this position is 6am-6pm. An 8 hour shift will be given, looking for flexibility
  • First day in office for up to 4 hours to pick up equipment, then REMOTE/WORK FROM HOME
  • During busy season you will be expected to work a 40-hour week and overtime when requested.
  • During off season, your hours will fluctuate between 32 to 40 hours depending on client need.

Benefits Customer Service Representative Responsibilities

  • Quickly build rapport and respond to customers in a compassionate manner by identifying and exceeding expectations by responding in a respectful, accurate, timely manner, consistently meeting commitments via phone, email, and instant message. Ability to customize customer service approach to meet all types of member communication styles and personalities while maintaining professionalism, and diplomacy during difficult calls. Handle confidential information with sensitivity and discretion in accordance with HIPAA and Data Privacy laws and company data security requirements. Skillfully translate health and welfare and pension terms, complex plan information and processes into simple explanations and instructions that customers can understand and act upon. Read and understand clients plan documents and online knowledgebase tools while collecting relevant information to determine immediate requests/questions and to anticipate the future needs of the member.
