As a Microsoft 365 Architect, you will play a key role in the global core team responsible for delivery of Microsoft 365 platform solutions for US based customers.
We need your help with architecture, hands-on delivery and end-to-end responsibility for implementation and successful delivery to production.
The role must have strong leadership skills and the ability to professionally represent FPT/Intellinet in demanding environments.
Understanding of competitive technologies to properly assess feasibility of migrating customer solutions from, and/or integrating with customer solutions hosted on, non-Microsoft platforms is also desired.
The M365 Solution Architect will have a variety of responsibilities, from being hands on with our clients to working with other technical experts and company leadership on developing innovative solutions and solving challenging problems.
Primary Responsibilities Responsible for leadership and delivery of project-based assignments that encompass assessments, roadmaps, system architecture, proof-of-concept and deployment services related to M365 platform.
Designs, plans and performs Microsoft Exchange and Microsoft 365 migrations, particularly in scenarios of M&A and Divestitures.
Leadership and ownership of M365 Migration Framework Define functional requirements and propose technical solutions, including the review of existing solutions to avoid redundancy.
Defining M365 technical proposals while making solution/service trade-offs where appropriate and providing support to our pre-sales and bid teams to ensure solution and cost alignment.
Resolution ownership of technical challenges for M365 projects and the technical escalation point for the implementation teams.
Mentoring and coaching more junior architects within the team through both performance management and community-led collaboration.
Required Competencies & Skills Expertise of at least one major Microsoft 365 application (e.g.
Exchange online, SharePoint online, Teams) with a proven track-record of designing complex, large M365 transformational programs, including hybrid configuration and Identity and Access management in M&A and/or Divestiture scenarios.
10 years minimum of progressive experience in technical solutions development using Microsoft platforms with extensive experience in design, architecture, and deployment of messaging solutions.
3 years minimum experience solutions consulting spanning full-lifecycle technical leadership from requirements gathering through to implementation, transition, and operations.
Strong understanding of Microsoft 365 E5 Security and Compliance capabilities.
A good working knowledge of the entire M365 stack, including their interactions and use cases.
Experience with any of the following migration tools: AvePoint, Bit Titan, Sharegate, Quest.
Experience with PowerShell and scripted automation.
Experience of working on both Agile and Waterfall project delivery.
Knowledge of standards for large enterprise migrations & deployments and operational understanding of security frameworks specific to IT Standards (PCI/PII/NIST/SOX/etc.).
Design, planning and implementation experience with Microsoft Exchange 2016/19 and Active Directory a plus.
Experience in other messaging solutions such as anti-virus/anti-spam appliances and or applications, archiving solutions, mobility solutions or real-time collaboration solutions a plus.
Key non-technical competencies include coaching, influencing senior stakeholders, managing time & priorities, conflict management, commercial / bid awareness, excellent presentation delivery and technical writing.
