This position requires a Registered Nurse, (RN) to be responsible for planning, organizing, directing, supervising, coordinating, and evaluating the care and services provided by the Home Care Agency.

In addition, the Director must ensure staff are trained in current health related policies and procedures and the Home Care Agency is capable of program growth as it remains in compliance with existing regulations and standards.

POSITION SPECIFICATIONS: Graduate from a school of nursing.

Must be registered and licensed with the State of Minnesota as a Registered Nurse and must maintain current unencumbered license with the Board of Nursing; Experience in working with older adults.

Previous experience in assisted living, a hospital, nursing home or Medicare home care agency required; Excellent judgment and decision-making abilities and problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently; Ability to use computers and electronic records; The ability to deal tactfully and use good communication and customer service skills with clients and their families; and Ability to demonstrate good judgment and observation skills.
