In this important role, work closely with an HR Business Partner as you assist with benefit administration, talent management, employee file/record maintenance, employee relations initiatives, onboarding/new employee orientation, celebrations, wellness activities, and other human resources-related functions.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Supports Aspirus as an employer of choice by attracting, engaging, retaining and empowering great people to work together, in a safe and healthy environment, to provide excellence in care for all we serve.Serves as tactical partner to Managers and employees regarding HR needs.
Handles all HR-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, sometimes referring complex matters to the appropriate HR AOE.
Handles employee and leader requests and inquiries in a professional and timely manner and serves as a resource to them.
Collaborates with the BU HR Leader and HR Business Partners on unique issues related to human resource programs and policy issues.Maintains knowledge of current trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.Regulatory Compliance: Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
Reviews, tracks, and documents compliance with mandatory and non-mandatory requirements.
Conducts or acquires background checks and employee eligibility verifications.HR Operations: Performs data entry and validation within the HRIS systems related to HR support for assigned Client.
Performs tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs including but not limited to compensation, benefits, and leave; performance and talent management; EEOC, occupational health and safety; and training and development.Develops and maintains an overall human resources knowledge base in order to oversee activities and problem solve in the absence of the BU HR Leader or HR Business Partners.Education and Experience:Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred but not required.Two years of human resource management experience preferred but not required.Hours: Monday
– Friday, 8:00
– 4:30 PM, 80 hours per pay-period.
