The PositionPOSITION SUMMARYUnder general supervision, this position is responsible for the timely, safe, and accurate handling of materials, and the related transactions in GenMark’s ERP system, in support of production, quality, R, and administrative functions.POSITION REQUIREMENTSAccurately and completely stage materials for production work orders; this includes, but need not be limited to, pull and stage materials, transport materials between departments, transact issued and returned materials in the computerized inventory control systemTimely transport and store quarantined and released materials throughout the warehouse or other designated locationsPut away released raw materials and manufactured products in the proper locations and temperatures, and ensure immediate segregation of non-conforming materials into quarantine locationsProperly handle and store hazardous materials and follow federal and state regulations regarding the transportation of hazardous and infectious substancesAssist with the daily cycle count program by verifying counts and reconciling discrepancies under the guidance of the Warehouse Lead workerAccurately perform transactions using computerized inventory systemReview Kanban levels in all buildings, replenish as needed, notify appropriate parties when unable to replenishOperate material handling equipment in the manner for which it has been designed and in a safe mannerFollow all standard operation procedures and GMP and SOX guidelines for all designated functionsAdhere to all safety instructions and guidelinesAssist with special projects as requested and perform additional duties as requiredWho you are High School DiplomaTwo (1-2) years of experience in a manufacturing warehouse environment performing various warehousing procedures utilizing material handling equipment preferredPrevious experience in an FDA-regulated environment highly preferredStrong working knowledge of computerized inventory control system (ERP system)Familiar with BOMs, JIT, and FIFO conceptsAbility to use material handling equipment such as pallet racks, hand trucks and motorized liftsMust be a hands-on, self-directed, organized and conscientious individualAbility to respond effectively to sensitive inquiries, customer inquiries or complaints as well as communicate effectively both orally and in writing with management, peers and individualsAbility to work effectively, exhibit a professional manner and establish constructive working relationshipsCapable of lifting up to 50 poundsNo Relocationbenefits are available.Who we areGenMark is now a proud member of the Roche Group, more than 100,000 people across 100 countries are pushing back the frontiers of healthcare.
