Business Unit Description: 8th Avenue Food & Provisions is a growing organization made up of businesses that produce and sell quality products including pasta, peanut butter, granola, and fruit and nut trail mixes to retail, foodservice and ingredient customers.

The company was formed in October 2018 through a combination of Post Holdings’ private brands businesses and is owned by Post Holdings and funds affiliated with Thomas H.

3rd Shift Differential: $1.50/hr Position Summary:Our 8th Avenue Electrical Technician role is responsible to provide electrical support to the electrical, maintenance and engineering groups for the preventative and corrective maintenance, repair, and installation of all electrical activities at all Attune Foods facilities.

This includes ensuring that facilities and equipment meet National Electrical Code (NEC).

Will assist in planning expansion utility capacities and preparation of annual departmental budgets.

Duties and Responsibilities:Daily pass-down of information to Facilities Electrician SupervisorAccurately report data on electrical activities status, efficiencies and preventive maintenance schedules as well as inform management of problem areas within their areaMaintain PM’s schedule at < 10%Monitor all utilities to ensure uninterrupted servicesBe involved in preparation of project timeline, requirements, and costingWork with departments/vendors/contractors to ensure materials, scheduling, sanitation, etc. are supporting their needs and vice-versaUnderstand and adhere to Attune Foods/8th Avenue personnel policies and discipline proceduresFollow plant safety policies, operational procedures and quality control proceduresMaintain current GMPs and Quality standardsOther duties as assignedEducation & Experience Required:High school diploma or GED equivalent from an accredited institution.Journeyman or higher electrical certificationNational Electrical Code (NEC)Preferred Education, Experience, and Skills:Analyzing electrical needs and capacitiesProviding instruction to apprenticesCommunicate effectively both verbally and in writing.Ensure collaborative relationships with industry, trade, other associations, regulatory agencies and Attune Foods/8th Avenue staff.Three (3) years in a food production and or manufacturing environmentCurrent GMPs and Quality standardsPhysical Requirements: Qualified candidates must be able to perform the following physical job requirements, with or without reasonable accommodation:May be required to climb ladders, work at heights, and do occasional heavy liftingAbility to lift up to 50 poundsStanding, kneeling, crouching, and some repetitive motion All offers are contingent upon a successful drug screen and background check. Attune Foods, LLC’s pre-employment test does not include marijuana/THC. Signing bonus is split into three payments. 1st payment of $250 is after 30 days of continuous employment, 2nd payment of $150 is after 90 days of continuous employment, and 3rd payment of $350 is after 180 days of continuous employment. Current employees and former employees who were employed by the Company in the six (6) months prior to 9/27/2021 are not eligible for the Signing Bonus.
