OES has 11 manufacturing and distribution centers strategically located across the U.S. and Canada. Oldcastle Infrastructure – Built For Life from Oldcastle Infrastructure on Vimeo.  Job Description Summary The ideal candidate in this role will perform a wide range of duties in an industrial manufacturing environment.  This multi-craft maintenance technician will be responsible for ensuring all equipment is operating safely and efficiently by completing preventative maintenance requirements, following diagrams, reading operations manuals and troubleshooting malfunctions. Responsibilities Responsible for implementing and maintaining plant effectiveness, emphasizing on machine maintenance and performance upkeep from CMMSResponsible for responding to all unplanned downtime or breakdowns on machinesResponsible for maintaining and troubleshooting problems with drive systems and PLCsPlan and execute maintenance activities for non-routine problems or issuesTroubleshoot equipment and system problems for manufacturing and facility equipment both routine and complex using a method of troubleshooting to get to a root causeDesign, fabricate and install mechanical and electronic equipment and perform program changesWeld carbon steel, and fabricating guards, etc. as requiredAssist in the planning, coordination and performance of shutdown and major maintenance activitiesPerform housekeeping of shop and areas where maintenance activities were performedBuild parts for replacement of repair or worn parts if neededWire and repair electric motors, troubleshoot and repair basic wiring Advises operators and others of operation procedures and requirements for working safely with electrical/electronic and mechanical equipment and componentsInstalls, starts up and shuts down equipment in accordance with safety proceduresPerforms lockout tag out as requiredOther responsibilities may be assigned on a temporary or permanent basis as needed Requirements Minimum high school diploma or equivalent Maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment or at least 5 years of experience in industrial maintenance as a multi-skill technicianExperience troubleshooting motors, drives, electrical circuits, hydraulic systems, power transmission, and roboticsMust have the ability to read and understand, electrical, and mechanical diagramsPLC experience highly desiredWelding skills preferredAbility to read/write simple instructions and communicate effectively with team membersAbility to lift up to 40 lbs periodically throughout the day  What CRH Offers You Highly competitive base payComprehensive medical, dental and disability benefits programsGroup retirement savings programHealth and wellness programsA culture that values opportunity for growth, development, and internal promotion  About CRH CRH has a long and proud heritage.
