Job Description Summary Operate and maintain concrete handling (Rekers) equipment safely and efficientlyInspect the quality of products according to standards, and adjust settings as necessaryDetect and report any equipment malfunctions and quality issues to Plant Supervisor Assist in maintaining accurate production flow and reportingPerform machine clean-up, set-up, and other functions associated with product changesExecute Daily and Business fundamentalsPerform additional duties as assigned by the Plant Manager, Supervisor, and Lead Machine OperatorWilling and able to cross-train on other aspects of the production processOther duties may be assigned as needed Requirements Manufacturing/industrial environment experience preferredAt least 2 years of experience operating similar equipmentHigh school diploma or GED, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experienceAbility to read and comprehend documents such as safety procedures, operating and maintenance instructionsAble to work any shift Physical Requirements Physical requirements include lifting at least 75 lbs., extended standing, walking, sitting, bending, climbing, working inside and outside, and use of fall protection equipmentAble to perform job tasks in dusty, hot and/or cold working conditionsMust wear company provided personal protective equipment – earplugs, hard hat, safety boots/shoes, and protective glasses Candidates must provide their own safety boots/shoes upon hire and will be eligible to participate in Safety Boots/Shoe Reimbursement Program after 30 days of employment.
