Teledyne Imaging Sensors is looking to add a Focal Plane Engineer to our exciting team building the world’s best astronomy arrays! The Focal Plane Engineer is responsible for the technical execution of advanced infrared and visible focal plane array development and production programs through successful deliveries. The Focal Plane Engineer identifies design opportunities and be devoted to technology advancements, manufacturing process improvements and process controls.

Qualifications & Competencies
To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following qualifications and competencies:
Education and/or Experience
Master’s degree with at least five (5) years of experience, or Ph.D. degree with at least three (3) years of experience, in Physics or Engineering discipline (electrical engineering, materials science, mechanical engineering, or industrial engineering).
Citizenship Requirements
Due to the type of work at the facility and certain access restrictions, successful applicants must be a U.S. Citizen.
