Position Summary:The Terrain Park Attendants are what keep the terrain park alive.
From opening, building, and maintenance, the Terrain Park Attendants should strive to make the Resort a better place.
They will assist in the overall delivery of the Terrain Park experience for all guests.
Terrain park attendants are responsible for maintaining the terrain park in its entirety.
They will help perform a daily risk management assessment of the terrain park including the design/construction and layout of features as well as placement and integrity of all animation and signage.
They will ensure and regulate effective testing of features, monitor daily maintenance, and ensure positive guest interactions.Duties & ResponsibilitiesMaintaining and building the terrain park: raking, shoveling, installing park boundary rope lines and signage, garbage pick up.Inspect features before, during, and after operating hours.
Coordinating the opening and closing of the park with Ski Patrol.Educate guests on terrain park etiquette and promote positive guest relations.Complete daily park logs.Monitor terrain park traffic, and provide an accurate guest count.Assist Ski Patrol with incidents in and out of the terrain park such as traffic control and more.Manage and inventory all equipment.Report and document all necessary data.Support snow-making plans throughout the season.Attend department team meetings.Understand and communicate the “Responsibility Code” and “SMART Style” to our guests.Perform other duties for the Resort as assigned.
Job Qualifications:Must be 18 years old.Must be able to lift up to 80 lbs and carry up to 40 lbsMust be at least an intermediate skier/snowboarder (on-hill test will be given).Must possess your own skis/snowboard.Must be able to work in extreme outdoor conditions.Must be self-motivated, mature, professional, and positive.
