SUMMARY Manage aspects of the Marketing and Communications departments, including digital marketing, corporate communications, reporting, email management, and content generation.
Serve as the primary point of contact for creative agencies, partner deliverables, and content calendar.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.

Stay informed about the market, industry trends, and the competitive landscape, while helping strategize and implement marketing, branding, and advertising plans Manages the marketing calendar by developing, executing, and evaluating advertising campaigns across owned, earned and paid marketing channels.
Develops common campaign structures and elements to be used across Campaigns including Email Automation, Paid Search, Digital Advertising, Social Media and Event Activation.
Manages existing creative resources, including graphic designers and printing services.
Manages the development process of all creative assets according to design briefs, in concert with the brand and with appropriate message and tone.
Creative assets include series marketing decks and other marketing materials, advertising collateral, sales decks, dashboards for metrics/analytics, photography and video assets for web & social media.
Manage execution process of special events including but not limited to: Media Days, Partner Receptions, Season-Ending Awards Celebration.
Build/Manage email/SMS marketing campaigns for ticketing, merchandise sales in Sailthru Manage first-draft communications edits for AMAP/AFTE departments Additional duties as assigned Percent of travel required: 35%, including weekend travel.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES This position has no supervisory responsibilities at this time.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE Bachelor’s degree (B.
A.) from four-year college or university in Public Relations/Communications/Journalism/English; or seven (2) years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
OTHER SKILLS Must be a confident communicator with excellent verbal and written communication skills Must possess excellent organizational, planning and time management skills Have a full understanding of media needs and media relationships Be proactive, reliable, responsible, and accurate at all times Have a tactical understanding of all primary social media platforms Be comfortable working in high-stress environments, often for long hours Be self-motivated with a positive and professional approach to management LANGUAGE SKILLS Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents.
Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community.
Ability to write speeches and articles for publication that conform to prescribed style and format.
Ability to effectively present information to top management, public groups, and/or boards of directors.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
COMPUTER SKILLS Basic skills on Company provided hardware and software.
REASONING ABILITY Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
