Balance Staffing is seeking to hire a Warehouse Supervisor to support a leading integrated manufacturing solutions provider serving the fastest-growing segments of the global Electronics Manufacturing Services (EMS) market.

Job Purpose:

The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for overseeing a wide variety of warehouse activities including shipping and receiving raw materials and/or finished goods and maintaining inventory accuracy and associated records. People management responsibilities include hiring and training, planning and assigning daily work, conducting performance appraisals, addressing performance issues, cross training and mentoring employees and resolving problems

Job Requirements:

Nature of Duties/Responsibilities:

·         Supervise Warehouse Employees for execution of day to day production plans

·         Maintain updated SOPs required in a formal, concise, understandable format that describes daily operational activities

·         Maintain efficient flow of materials, inventory, and staging to manufacturing operations

·         Responsible for fixing and root causing any inventory accuracy issue encountered by regular CC activities

·         Responsible for daily/weekly/monthly KPI’s (reporting and deployment of new metrics)

·         Report inventory status changes and movement (based on KPI’s)

·         Assist in material handling activities (operations hands on)

·         Interpret an extensive variety of information in technical, mathematical, and diagrammatic and database application forms.

Education and Experience:

·         Associates degree or 5 years of relevant warehouse experience (receiving, shipping, kitting, staging), including 2+ year of previous supervisory experience (15+ direct reports), or equivalent combination of education and experience.

·         Advanced Computer skills, expanded abilities in use of spreadsheet & database applications preferred, specifically, Microsoft Excel (Pivots, Charts, Data Comparison formulas, etc…)

·         Excellent Oracle 11i / WMS (or similar ERPs), MS-Office and MRP knowledge is required (Oracle NetSuite is a plus)

·         Detail oriented self-starter, able to work in a very fast-paced & dynamic environment

·         Ability to accomplish daily task with minimal supervision

·         Ability to lift up to 50lbs and stand up activities through the entire shift

·         Standard warehouse equipment experience (forklift, Joe’s, electrical/manual pallet jacks)

·         Ability to troubleshoot basic system failures and hardware (WMS guns, scanners, tablets, label printers)

·         Ability to apply principles of logical thinking to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.

·         Must have strong analytical, verbal and written communication skills.
